The Catalina is made of 100-percent 18-9 mirror-polished stainless steel for lasting beauty and superior corrosion resistance. The grill cooks quickly and evenly thanks to the convenient snap-on dual radiant plate, which runs off of disposable 1-pound propane cylinders or onboard LPG (propane) or CNG (natural gas) systems. The removable radiant plate also allows for quick and easy cleanup, so you can keep rancid oils from building up. Best of all, the grill mounts securely to your boat’s side rail, so you can grill safely and efficiently even when the ocean or lake gets a little bumpy (mounts sold separately; heavy-duty mounting hardware recommended). You can even take the grill with you to shore thanks to the foldaway legs.
The Catalina grill offers two grilling platforms: an 18-by-12-inch grill with tightly spaced grid struts for general grilling and a large upper grill for slow grilling or warming such food as vegetables and bread. Other features include a reliable piezo crystal ignition for instant startup; a full-size inner safety shell that funnels grease into a front-access grease tray; an all-stainless-steel, hermetically sealed thermometer with 750-degree safety glass; an oversized hinged lid that’s perfectly balanced; a full-length handle with access from either side; and a swiveling valve regulator that allows for quick gas bottle exchange.
